Sweet Box. A good looking shrub for shady spots in the garden. The dark green foliage is narrow and pointed, the winter flowers are cream with hints of pink and sweetly fragrant and are often followed by black berries. Prefers a nice rich soil to do well. Tolerates light frost. Evergreen.

A useful evergreen shrub for difficult, cold, shady areas as this is where it loves to grow. Glossy green foliage, small fragrant white flowers followed by bright crimson berries. Looks best group planted. Prefers a rich soil with nice dollop of organic matter.
